Patrick Hüttlinger is a contemporary visual artist and master tattooist with over 25 years of experience, known for his distinctive exploration of sacred geometry through highly precise, large-scale works. After training as a wood carver in Munich, he spent fifteen years (2000–2015) travelling extensively through more than twenty countries, immersing himself in diverse cultures, natural systems, and traditional craftsmanship. He later established himself in Berlin before relocating to Costa Rica in 2022. In his latest Lightworks, he establishes a distinct photonic composition through a self-developed technique he defines as Photonic Pointillism, where pointillism meets optical movement. He creates perceptual works that shift and reveal themselves with the viewer's position, guided by an intuitive sensitivity to natural energies, shapes, and movements, expressing fundamental aspects of human experience.
